FAQs
Weather permitting, orders ship within within 3–5 business days from the time your order is placed. To ensure your plants arrive fresh and healthy, all shipments are sent either next day or 2-day air, minimizing transit time and preserving plant quality. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way!
All of our plants are grown in a 1.5 pint pot that measures: L 4.25″ x W 3.5″ x H 5″. Our pots are #5 polypropylene and are 100% recyclable.
Each plant is securely packaged in our proprietary shipping containers, designed to protect delicate blooms, sturdy stems, and root systems. Our packaging keeps soil contained and plants protected—so when you open the box, you’ll find your plants safe, intact, and ready to thrive (without the mess).
Thanks to our shipping containers, it’s rare for plants to be damaged in transit, but every now and then, a box meets a delivery driver with a heavy hand.
If your plants arrive in less-than-thriving shape, just send us an email at hello@gardenfootprints.com with your order number and a photo of the dead or damaged plant. We’ll happily process a refund for any plants that didn’t survive the journey.
While it’s not necessary to plant your flowers immediately, we recommend removing them from their packaging upon arrival and placing them in the location that will be their forever home. This allows the plants to acclimate to their new environment before planting.
Ensure they receive appropriate care, such as watering, during this period. Most plants can remain in their original containers for a short period without adverse effects. However, prolonged confinement can lead to root binding and other issues, so it’s best to plant them in their permanent location as soon as possible.
